The Nut Tree at Murcott village is close to Bicester Village which makes it popular with people who enjoy fine dining and enjoy the best.
It is owned by Mike and Imogen who have been in residence for more than 10 years. In 2018 it was voted Oxfordshire’s Best Fine Dining Pub and in the UK’s Top 50 Gastro Pubs.
Known affectionately as the nut house The Nut Tree is a traditional village pub which serves great modern British food in the restaurant, but is still somewhere you can stop and have a pint or relaxing drink at the end of a day’s work. They even have their own Nut Tree ales and their friends’ own gin!
The food is really delicious, interesting and adventurous. Just have a look at the butter.
Within the 15th century thatched building you’ll find a mix of locals and visitors enjoying real ales, fine wines, excellent food and friendly service. Their bar food also serves our home-made fish and chips.
