Cricklade is a pretty Saxon town on the outskirts of the Cotswolds with a relatively new eating place called the Cricklade Club.

The first rule of the Club is that it isn’t a club – just a bright and friendly, if somewhat quirky cafe/bar.

It is a venue which is open to all. Located in a former social club (hence The Club) it is attached to a Grade II listed townhouse and in the heart of the town with good parking at the rear.

They provide good food and champion local produce. You can get a good brunch with excellent coffee and scrummy homemade cakes.

At the weekends they serve supper between 6-9pm with a changing menu. Part of their business is an organic farm in Purton which is four miles away and who is one of their many local suppliers.
