The Cartwright Hotel and restaurant close to Banbury is on the border of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire just five minutes from the motorway.

As a result it is close to the M40 and the Oxford London Airport, and its home is the pleasant English village of Aynho.

The village dates back to Saxon times, and the Cartwright was originally a 16th century coaching inn.

It is often used by motoring journalists for other facilities in the village who report that the food is excellent, but the rooms a little tired.

Banbury is six miles away while the Bicester Village shopping facilities can be reached in less than a quarter of an hour by car.
