Two Wales rugby internationals well-versed in tough tackling on the pitch are now able to tackle the toughest terrain off it after taking delivery of their new Jeep Wrangler SUVs.

Cardiff Blues and WRU tighthead, Dillon Lewis and former WRU and current Worcester Warriors centre, Ashley Beck, both chose the iconic SUV – the ultimate go-anywhere 4×4 – as their daily drives independently of one and other.

Both bought their Wrangler from Nathaniel Cars, which has dealerships in Bridgend and Cardiff, and is one of the newest retailers in Jeep’s UK network.

Six-foot tighthead prop Lewis, pictured, chose the aggressively styled four door Wrangler Night Eagle special edition finished in Granite Crystal.

Neath-born Beck meanwhile, opted for a model equally well suited to his 6’3” frame – a 2.0-litre Wrangler Sahara 4dr in Ocean Blue.

Wayne Griffiths, dealer principal of Nathaniel Cars Jeep, said: “We’re all huge supporters of Welsh rugby at Nathaniel Cars and so being able to count two great players like Dillon and Ashley among our customers fills us with pride.

Taking delivery of his new car, Dillon said: “The Jeep Wrangler’s such an iconic model and it really stands out, but it’s also got all the latest technology I was looking for. I’ve been like a kid at Christmas waiting for it to arrive at the dealership.”

The fourth generation of the iconic Jeep Wrangler is available now from Jeep dealers nationwide with the range priced from £40,525 OTR. For more information or to find your nearest dealer, visit www.jeep.co.uk
